The DEU uses a variation of the standard "Hershey" vector glyphs. They're close, but there are changes to spacing and many of the shapes. It also adds a number of shuttle specific glyphs like a little top and side view orbiter. (I've verified this personally by overlaying DEU and Hershey glphys and adjusting them until identical.)
