No, I get the "nothing local" part. What surprised me is that their local spin of the Links browser even lets you do this in the first place. I would have thought they would have just altered it to disable any attempt to store local files or settings. As it is, even if you download a file and it's still in the tmpfs, you can't do anything with it other than view it and it just takes up space until the next reboot.
